Stocks fall, dollar plunges as 2017 wraps

Stocks (^DJI, ^GSPC, ^IXIC) are in the red on the last day of trading in 2017. The consumer staples (XLP) sector is the most in the green, while the tech (XLK) and financial (XLF) sectors are the most in the red.

Keith Bliss of Cuttone and Company joins us live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to talk markets. To discuss the other big stories of the day, Yahoo Finance’s Seana Smith is joined by Myles Udland and Justine Underhill. Jared Blikre also sits down with Zap.com founder Nick Spanos to talk about the latest in blockchain smart contracts.
