American Tower Corporation AMT is a REIT that is an owner and operator of wireless and broadcast communications infrastructure in several countries. The company’s focus on communication towers has driven the stock’s spectacular performance as the advancement of telecommunication technology has bolstered its sales. Cellphones have become an indispensable part of people’s daily life and with the upcoming implementation of 5G technology, REIT’s like AMT are in a position to reap the benefits.
