Starbucks has announced its latest Instagrammable creation: a flamingo frappuccino.

The coffee chain's Ruby Flamingo Frappuccino comes in a bright candyfloss shade of pink and is made from ruby chocolate and raspberry flavoured syrup.

The limited edition drink is topped with pink whipped cream and fans are already sharing their excitement on social media ahead of its launch date.

The frappuccino will be available on Starbucks menus in the UK from 4 June to 2 July.

Those eager to get their hands on one of the aesthetically pleasing iced beverages can do so either via takeaway or by ordering for delivery through UberEats, depending on which option your local Starbucks is providing.

To promote the drinks, Starbucks has launched its own Ruby Flamingo Frappuccino emoji on Twitter.

Just type #FlamingoFrappuccino or #RubyFlamingoFrappuccino into the Twitter text box and it will come up.

While this marks the first time the drink will be available in the UK, Instagram posts with the hashtag #FlamingoFrappuccino show that a similarly vibrant beverage has been available at Starbucks branches in other countries, such as Peru, for some time.

"Can't wait," one person commented on an Instagram post from Starbucks UK promoting the drink.

"Excited to try it," another added.
