Spain's current account surplus rises to 5.56 billion euros in May

(Reuters) - Spain's current account surplus rose to 5.56 billion euros ($6.02 billion) in May, up from a surplus of 4.03 billion euros in the same month a year earlier, the Bank of Spain said on Wednesday.

That compared to a surplus of 2.83 billion euros in April, according to the central bank.
