SingPost shareholders bag higher dividends on back of enhanced payout scheme

It will distribute 7 cents per share in FY16.

SingPost’s shareholders will enjoy higher payouts after the company unveiled its enhanced dividend policy for FY16.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, SingPost aims to make a total annual dividend payout of 7 cents per share, higher than the current dividend per share of 6.25 cents.

The enhanced dividend will be paid out on a quarterly basis. The company will pay dividends of 1.50 cents per share in the first three quarters of the year, up from 1.25 cents currently. SingPost will pay an unchanged dividend per share of 2.50 cents in the fourth quarter to bring the total dividend payout to 7 cents.
