SGX's securities market turnover up 21% to $25b

The average daily value was $1.2b.

Singapore Exchange's securities market reported strong figures for the month of July, with turnover value reaching $25.5b, up 14% MoM and 21% YoY.

According to the latest statistics released by SGX, the securities daily average value (SDAV) was S$1.2b.

The market turnover values of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and of structured warrants improved during the 21 trading days in the month, hitting $259m and $1.4b, respectively.

During the month, there were three new Catalist listings raising $62.6m and one new mainboard listing raising $2.3b. Meanwhile, there were 74 new bond listings, raising $31.4b.

Overall, the market capitalisation of 754 listed companies stood at $1t as at end-July.
