Sembcorp to develop two solar energy systems for ST Aerospace
The projects will cost $5.4m and have a combined capacity of 4.1 MW.
Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) will build two grid-rooftop solar energy systems at Singapore Technologies Aerospace's (ST Aerospace) Changi and Seletar facilities.
According to a press release, both photovoltaic systems will be built, owned, operated and maintained by Sembcorp and have a combined capacity of 4.1 MW.
The combined project cost for the two systems of approximately $5.4m will be funded internally.
The construction of the systems will begin this month and is targeted to be completed by February 2018 and April 2018.
The firm said the ST Aerospace rooftop solar energy project is its fourth project.
Globally, Sembcorp has over 2,000 MW of renewable energy and energy-from-waste capacity.
