Safe management measures at project sales galleries relaxed from June 14

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Under the Phase 3 Heightened Alert Safe Management Measures announced by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on June 10, existing Safe Management Measures (SMM) will be relaxed from 14 June 2021. (See also: Capacity limits for visitors to project sales galleries, resale properties)

The maximum capacity within developers’ project sales galleries and show units will be relaxed from 16 sqm per person to 10 sqm per person. The maximum number of persons in each group will be increased from two to five.

Food and drinks may be consumed within the sales gallery from June 21, subject to 1m safe distance between groups.

Developers who wish to adopt the SMM under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert) are required to submit their updated SMM checklist to the Controller of Housing (COH) from June 14.

Those who wish to continue with the SMM under Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) should notify the COH in writing by June 14 too.
