Sabre: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
SOUTHLAKE, Texas (AP) _ Sabre Corp. (SABR) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $10.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Southlake, Texas-based company said it had profit of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 16 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.
The provider of technology services to the travel industry posted revenue of $941.4 million in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $944.6 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $158.6 million, or 57 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.97 billion.
Sabre expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.10 to $1.30 per share.
Sabre shares have declined 14% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 13% in the last 12 months.
