Yahoo Finance Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey quits show after 11 years
Cynthia Bailey has confirmed that she is exiting The Real Housewives of Atlanta after 11 years on the show.
The star, who has been on the reality series since season 3, revealed in a new Instagram post that it "is time to move on to my next chapter".
"After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta," she began.

After thanking production, Cynthia paid tribute to her castmates "for eleven of the most unbelievable years of my life; and the most incredible & UNFORGETTABLE memories!"
The star continued: "I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures.
"Most importantly, THANK YOU to my fans! I could not have done it without your blessings, love, and support. Without the fans, none of this would be possible. I love and appreciate all of you.
"It's time to move on to my next chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you. See you guys soon! Cynthia Bailey-Hill".
The star isn't the only Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member to exit in the past 12 months, with NeNe Leakes confirming almost exactly a year ago that she would be leaving.
Speaking to Digital Spy following her castmate's departure, Cynthia said: "I just wanted NeNe to do what was going to be best for NeNe. We were good friends for a long time. Obviously, that has changed. But I still live in a very respectful place, in terms of whatever the relationship is called at this point.
"I wish her well. I root for her. If she had made the decision to come back, I would have been fine with that. I'm also fine with her making the decision to not come back. Whatever works for her, works for me."
