Raffles Medical Group to extend Raffles Hospital
Raffles Medical Group announced that it is building an extension building besides its existing Raffles Hospital. The extension will cost $310 million. It will have 20 storeys and 2 basements for a total of about 530,000 sqft of gross floor area. This almost doubles the existing Hospital’s size. Medical facilities at the extension will include specialist outpatient clinics, endoscopy and day surgery wards, advanced imaging and radiotherapy suite. It will also have training facilities. The extension will enable Raffles Medical Group to meet the increasingly sophisticated healthcare needs of Singaporeans and foreign patients.
GET TO THE POINT : Always nice to be able to double your current facility through building an extension besides it. Not many facilities in the city centre have such possibilities.
