The Queen saying "Nah!" in this viral TikTok is everything

The Queen has just mimicked every disgruntled teenager in Britain by replying 'Nah!' when asked a question. And we are obsessed.

While being filmed sitting for a portrait, the artist asked her whether something had 'upset her.' Her Majesty replied - in the most nonchalant way possible - 'Nah.' A TikTok user shared the clip, writing: 'The Queen answering a question like every bloke in the UK. Can't get over the Queen saying Nah.'

The viral clip, which has since been shared 294.4K times, has caused TikTok users to call the Queen 'legendary.' One fan wrote: 'That's the most relatable i've ever seen her,' and another said: 'I'm crying!!!', while another user simply wrote: 'HOWLING.'

It's not the first time the nation has been enraptured by the Queen's wicked sense of humour. For the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics, the monarch starred in a Danny Boyle-directed film where she strolled through Buckingham Palace accompanied by a gaggle of corgis and James Bond actor Daniel Craig. She then appeared parachute into the London stadium after jumping out of a helicopter. In truth, the stunt was actually carried out by a man called Gary Connery, yet this didn’t stop the nation from enjoying Her Majesty’s funny side.

Another time the Queen made us all howl with laughter is when she starred alongside Prince Harry in his Invictus Games promotion video. The video starts by former American president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle saying: "Hey Prince Harry, remember how you said you were going to bring it?" to which the Queen replies - with a slight smirk - 'Oh really..."

And let's not forget one of the Queen’s funniest - and most charming moments - when she joked with Prince Harry at Sandhurst. The prince was graduating from the army officer training school in April 2006, when the Queen stopped by to inspect the cadets. Prince Harry couldn’t keep a straight face when his grandmother passed by to inspect his troop. Adorable.

While her life is obviously all about royal duty, we love seeing these light-hearted moments from HRH. And if 'Nah' has got the royal seal of approval, maybe we need to bring it back into our daily vocab...
