PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Prudential Bancorp Inc. (PBIP) on Friday reported earnings of $2 million in its fiscal first quarter.

The Philadelphia-based company said it had net income of 22 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $10.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $6.4 million.

Prudential Bancorp shares have increased slightly more than 3 percent since the beginning of the year.
