If you have a Samsung TV made in the past couple of years — hey, it could happen! —

You know that every time you turn it on — every ding-dong time — you get this stupid frame.

And you have to find the remote and press Enter to make the screen full of video.

Well, guess what? Deep, deep in the settings, you can eliminate that hassle.

Hit Menu, Smart Features, Auto Start — and turn it off.

On some models, it’s Smart Hub, Auto-Start Features, Smart Hub.

From now on, when you turn on your TV, you get … TV. What a concept!
