The report noted that although Changi Airport and the Jewel being super-amenities, with retail and 24-hour food outlets, will hold up property prices for the real estate in that area, “the momentum is expected to drop in the near term. This is due to the effect of Covid-19 on the aviation industry (a lot of properties here are purchased with the intention of renting it to air crews, SIA trainees, etc.)”.
