Paramount Global Stations In Detroit & Miami To Become CW Affiliates In Renewal Agreement With Nexstar
Paramount Global has inked a multi-year affiliation agreement with Nexstar, the nation’s biggest broadcaster, covering 42 markets. The deal calls for two Paramount-owned independent stations in Miami, Florida, and Detroit, Michigan, both top 20 markets, to become affiliates of The CW Network.
The overall renewal includes 40 stations owned by Nexstar and two by its its operating partner, Mission Broadcasting. Together, the stations reach 15% of the U.S. audience, serving nearly 19 million television households.

WBFS-TV in Miami and WKBD-TV in Detroit will begin carrying The CW Network’s news, primetime entertainment, live sports, and special event programming on September 1.
