Oxley’s maiden hotel development receives TOP

Oxley Holdings announced on Aug 15 that its hotel development on Stevens Road received its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) on Aug 3. The two hotels within the development are expected to begin operations in 2Q2018. The hotel development is part of Oxley’s hospitality-cum-commercial project on Stevens Road. The combined gross development value of the project is about $900 million.

When fully completed, it will comprise 254 hotel rooms operated by Novotel and 518 hotel rooms operated by Mercure; a 360-seat ballroom, swimming pools, meeting facilities, F&B outlets and a fitness centre. Located near Scotts Road, the project is a short drive from the Orchard Road shopping belt.

Oxley plans to achieve TOP for the entire development before commencing hotel operations in 2Q2018. Auxiliary areas under construction include extended facilities for the hotels, two commercial units, a tennis court and some external works.
