Goldman Sachs' global treasurer, Liz Beshel Robinson, is retiring from the bank, according to a statement from CFO Harvey Schwartz.

She will be replaced by the current global head of operations, Robin Vince.

Beshel Robinson joined the firm in 1990 in the investment bank's financial-institutions group, and joined the corporate-treasury department three years later.

A partner and Goldman Sachs Bank USA board member, Beshel Robinson's accomplishments at Goldman Sachs include working on the bank's IPO in 1999.

As global treasurer, she managed the bank's liquidity risk, balance sheet, and capital. She helped fund the firm's global businesses and worked with external stakeholders, according to the statement.

Beshel Robinson is currently cochair of the finance committee and a member of a number of other committees at the firm.

She will become an advisory director, and will work with the incoming treasurer until the end of the year.

Vince joined Goldman Sachs in 1994. He became global head of operations in 2006, and relocated to London from 2011 to 2015 as chief operating officer and head of the federation in EMEA and chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs International Bank.

He is the current director of Goldman Sachs International.

Vince will be replaced as global head of operations by Laurence Stein, who is the current COO of securities.
