Ollie's Bargain Outlet: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Ollie's Bargain Outlet Holdings Inc. (OLLI) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $49.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had profit of 76 cents. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were 71 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 70 cents per share.

The retailer posted revenue of $393.9 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $398.1 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $135 million, or $2.05 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.24 billion.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.10 to $2.15 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.44 billion to $1.45 billion.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet shares have increased 23 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $81.56, an increase of 35 percent in the last 12 months.
