JAKARTA, March 10 (Reuters) - Refined tin shipments from top
exporter Indonesia rose to 5,997 tonnes in February, up 30
percent from the previous month, said Bachrul Chairi, director
general of foreign trade at the trade ministry.
Chairi corrected earlier data provided by another trade
official, who said exports were at 5,573 tonnes last month.
Indonesia in February exported 3,507.63 tonnes of tin
ingots, 2,009.91 tonnes of solder, and 479.92 tonnes of refined
tin in other forms.
Refined tin exports were down 28 percent on an annual basis.
