No sale at property auction

A recent property auction held by JLL at the Amara Hotel failed to close a single sale despite recent reports of a rebound in the Singapore auction market during the third quarter of 2015. Read more > Rising auction sales hint at a recovery

The auction event on 23 September saw a total of 10 properties submitted for sale, of which eight were residential listings while the other two comprised a factory and shop unit.

Asking prices ranged from $700,000 for the factory at Kallang Pudding Road to $32 million for a freehold good class bungalow in Binjai Park.

There were six properties put up for auction as mortgagee sales, and the other four through owners sale. This is in line with analyst views of more properties being put up for mortgagee sale.

Meanwhile, JLLs next auction is scheduled to take place on 28 October 2015.
