No Guts, No Glory: Pitch at Startup Arena Singapore 2013
Startup Asia Singapore 2013 will be held on April 4 and 5 at Biopolis Matrix, Singapore. One of the highlights is Startup Arena, our annual pitching competition in Singapore.
We have received over 200 applications and have selected about 10 startups to pitch so far. There’s no limit on how many startups we will pick. If you’re good, you’re in. Some startups have been handpicked by us when we happened to meet them along the way.
So if you believe you have a great product, team, and have the guts to pitch in a hall filled with at least 500 investors, media, and fellow entrepreneurs, then submit your pitch to us. We prefer early-stage startups in Asia who are little-known to the world. That is the sweet spot where we believe we can add the most value.
Format: 5 minute pitch + 5 minutes Q&A from judges
Prizes: US$10,000 for the winning startup
Judges: TBC (Our past judges included Ben Joffe, Andy Zain, and Daniel Saito)
Submission deadline: March 19 (Friday)
You can find last year’s Startup Arena pitch videos below. Past participants of Startup Arena includes PayrollHero, GushCloud, Teamie, Piktochart, Flocations, Phroni, and Vibease.
This year’s speakers include Darius Cheung (co-founder at BillPin), Ole Ruch (managing director APAC at Airbnb), Steve Melhuish (co-founder at PropertyGuru), Alan Tan (co-founder at Shanda), Daphne Lee (international business director at Taobao), and more.
Early-bird tickets are selling fast and are available until March 8. Grab your tickets now.
