Yahoo Finance Nigella Lawson posts incredible throwback photo for Halloween
Nigella Lawson took a trip down memory lane and shared an incredible photograph of herself aged 23. Posting the throwback photograph on Instagram, her followers have gone wild for the snap.
Shot in the 1980s, the photograph shows a very young Nigella with full hair and makeup reminiscent of that era. Standing in a pose wearing a power blazer (complete with shoulder pads) and gold jewellery, she can be seen with her hair half-up, half-down in a backcombed style and statement makeup.
Her eyes are rimmed with liner, her plum eyeshadow goes all the way up to her eyebrows and her lips are a rich, matte crimson.
Captioning the image, Nigella wrote: “Not sure #throwbackthursday is really a thing anymore, but just found a rather Halloween-suitable photo of me taken by Terry Donovan when I was 23. Yes, I know! But remember, it was 1983….”.
Naturally, the praise came flooding in from her 2.6m followers. One commented: “This is amazing! Beautiful then and now”, while another wrote: “This. Photo. Is. Everything.” and a third even said she’s going to channel the look for Halloween this coming weekend: “I’m going to steal this look for my daughter’s 23rd birthday Halloween supper this weekend!”
