BEIJING (AP) _ NetEase Inc. (NTES) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $246.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had net income of $1.92. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, were $2.66 per share.

The internet technology company posted revenue of $2.89 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $894.8 million, or $6.87 per share. Revenue was reported as $9.77 billion.

NetEase shares have dropped 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $232.60, a fall of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
