Midas Holdings’ Joint Venture Unit Wins Contracts Worth Rmb2.1b

Midas Holdings’ 32.5 percent joint venture unit, Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co. (NPRT), has secured three contracts for metro trains and trams in China valued at Rmb2.1 billion scheduled for delivery between 2016 and 2017.

The contracts bring a healthy boost to NPRT’s contract books, and the tram car supply contract offers diversification to its portfolio.

The group commented that the new contracts reinforce NPRT’s competitive advantage in China’s transportation industry, and further demonstrates its ability to forge strategic alliances in the pursuit of new business opportunities.
