Microsoft (MSFT) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

Microsoft (MSFT) closed at $247.18 in the latest trading session, marking a -2.09% move from the prior day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 1.04%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the software maker had lost 0.31% over the past month. This has lagged the Computer and Technology sector's gain of 3.67% and the S&P 500's gain of 3.83% in that time.

The company is expected to report EPS of $1.90, up 30.14% from the prior-year quarter. Meanwhile, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenue is projecting net sales of $44.07 billion, up 15.86% from the year-ago period.
