Mexican rock band Maná

Mexican rock superstars Maná have confirmed they will perform at the White House on May 5, at the presidential Cinco de Mayo celebration.

The group, which kicks off its "Latino Power Tour" Sept. 9 in San Diego are also set to travel across the U.S. until just after election day in November.

The top-selling Latin rock band are known for its political activism, and have previously shown support for President Obama, but have made no secret of their a great disdain for presidential candidate Donald Trump and his anti-immigrant policies (via Billboard).

Their scheduled performance in Washington is set to cause a stir, with the group also having recently penned a song inspired by Trump "Somos Mas Americanos" (We Are More American).
