MAS appoints transport minister Chee Hong Tat as deputy chairman
Chee’s appointment will be from Aug 23 to May 31, 2027.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has appointed Chee Hong Tat, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance, as its deputy chairman.
Chee’s appointment will be from Aug 23 to May 31, 2027. He was appointed to the MAS’s board on June 1 this year.
MAS’s chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, was appointed the central bank’s chairman. His term began on May 15 and will last till May 31, 2026.
