WandaVision icon Kathryn Hahn has opened up about joining Knives Out 2, revealing that there's one aspect of Rian Johnson's whodunnit caper that she's "really turned on by".

Kathryn, who charmed Marvel fans as Agatha Harkness in the Disney+ series, was confirmed for Knives Out 2 earlier this year – and it sounds like she's just as excited as fans are to be a part of the upcoming sequel.

With production for the movie now under way in Greece, Kathryn spoke to Nylon about why she joined the project, citing the "ensemble" of the 2019 murder mystery.

"Well, I love the ensemble of the first one," she admitted. "I was really turned on by, A) Rian Johnson's filmmaking, B) that he has an impeccable reputation as one of the nicest humans, and C) the ensemble."

Explaining that she felt like "every character" had equal value – and equal amounts of fun – in Knives Out, Kathryn added: "It just looked like every character was so specific and that it seemed to be a lot of equal ball-passing in a really fun way.

"It just looked like a blast to be on the set because it looked like there was no ball-hogging – just everybody passing the ball to each other with such generosity."

Fortunately for Kathryn, it sounds like the same can be said for the sequel. "And so far, it seems like the same thing on this one," she continued.

"It's a really delightful, beautiful ensemble."

Knives Out 2, the first of two Netflix sequels, will see the return of Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc, as well as newcomers in the form of Army of the Dead's Dave Bautista, Hamilton's Leslie Odom Jr, The Incredible Hulk's Edward Norton and Homecoming's Janelle Monáe.

Knives Out is available to rent or buy now on DVD, Blu-ray or as a digital download – and a sequel is on the way for Netflix.
