Malaysia Q2 current account surplus narrows to 3.9 bln ringgit
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Malaysia's current account surplus narrowed to 3.9 billion ringgit ($950.76 million) in the second quarter from 15.0 billion ringgit in the previous three months, the government said on Friday.
Portfolio investment saw a net outflow of 38.3 billion ringgit, compared with an outflow of 2.6 billion ringgit in the first quarter of 2018. ($1 = 4.1020 ringgit) (Reporting by Joseph Sipalan; writing by Praveen Menon; Editing by Richard Borsuk)
