Magna (MGA) Q3 Earnings and Revenues Lag Estimates

Magna (MGA) came out with quarterly earnings of $1.07 per share, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.13 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.56 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -5.31%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this automotive supply company would post earnings of $0.93 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.83, delivering a surprise of -10.75%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates two times.

Magna , which belongs to the Zacks Automotive - Original Equipment industry, posted revenues of $9.27 billion for the quarter ended September 2022, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.75%.
