The M, Wing Tai Asia’s 522-unit residential-commercial property at Middle Road, will open for public preview this Saturday (15 February).

Slated for completion in the first quarter of 2024, the development comprises three 20-storey towers and one six-storey tower with retail component at the ground level.

It offers studio apartments as well as one- to two-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 409 to 420 sq ft for the studios to 721 to 764 sq ft for the two-bedders plus study.

There will also be three-bedroom dual-key apartments, measuring 904 sq ft.

Wing Tai noted that studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units account for around 96% of the project’s total units.

Stacey Ow Yeong, head of marketing at Wing Tai Property Management, revealed that indicative prices for studio units start from just below $1 million, from $1 million for one-bedders and $1.1 million for one-bedroom plus study.

Two-bedroom units are priced from $1.3 million, $1.6 million for the two-bedders plus study and $2 million for the three-bedroom dual-key apartments.

Featuring a novel Home/Work concept that is being trademarked, the studio and one-bedroom units will come with “multi-function kitchen table for dining and entertainment that can be converted into a work desk, and a sliding wardrobe that doubles up as workspace storage solution”, said Wing Tai.

The M is located within the prime Ophir-Rochor Corridor, near the arts and cultural precinct that spans Bras Basah, Bugis and the Civic District. It is also close to the City Hall, Bugis and Esplanade MRT stations.

“Residents can also walk to the major office, retail and healthcare hubs such as South Beach, DUO, Bugis Junction and Raffles Hospital or to established learning institutions in the vicinity including Singapore Management University, School of the Arts Singapore, LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.”

In fact, The M – which sits on an 80,000 sq ft site with 99-year lease – will be a beneficiary of a unique collaboration between Wing Tai Asia and LASALLE to create, curate and integrate art into the development.

Its sales gallery can be found at the junction of Selegie Road and Middle Road.

Safety measures in place for the preview

To ensure visitors’ well-being, health and safety measures have been set up such as the collection of contact details, temperature screening and hourly cleaning, particularly of high footfall areas like entrances, surface areas, doorknobs and washrooms.

To avoid large crowds in the gallery during the public preview, two separate holding areas will be set up for visitors and agents to congregate, scheduling the entry of visitors at different times and limiting the number of people inside the gallery.
