Liverpool need a point to secure their last-16 spot in the Champions League when they face Ajax on Tuesday night.

The Reds beat the Dutch side 1-0 in Amsterdam earlier in the group stage and remain top despite losing to Atalanta last time out.

Ajax are level on points with the Italians and will be keen to take at least a point ahead of what will likely be a crucial final matchday at home to the Serie A side.

He joins Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the sidelines. Xherdan Shaqiri has also been missing recently, while Nat Phillips is inelligible. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on his way back but not likely to feature.

Confirmed line-ups

Liverpool XI: Kelleher, N. Williams, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Jones, Mane, Salah, Jota

Ajax XI: Onana, Schuurs, Alvarez, Klaassen, Neres, Gravenberch, Tadic, Mazraoui, Blind, Tagliafico, Antony
