If You Live in One of These 20 Housing Markets, Consider Selling While It’s Still Hot

Even though some prospective buyers are waiting on the sidelines for mortgage rates to drop, the real estate market remains hot in certain places around the U.S. According to a recent Realtor.com report, listings in “America’s 20 Hottest Markets” received three times as many views per property as the national average in May 2024.

“This suggests that the hottest markets are seeing significantly more demand than the typical home nationally, despite still-challenging housing conditions,” Realtor.com’s economic analyst Hannah Jones said in her analysis.

This high demand is a good indication that if you own a home in one of these 20 markets and have been thinking of selling, you may want to strike while the iron is hot.
