As an accomplished realtor, Pristine Lim has made significant strides in the real estate industry, turning the challenges and frustrations from her own buyer/seller journey into invaluable experience and insight, which she used to hone her trademark empathetic sales approach. As her reputation grew along with the slew of awards she received in recognition of her amazing results, so did her desire to impart her approach to the next generation of agents.

Discovering her passion

Driven by the need to support her parents and an innate desire to expand her skill- set, Lim dabbled in various ad hoc event jobs like face-painting and stilt-walking. Post-graduation, Lim transitioned into the medical sales field.

However, it was her personal experience when selling her HDB flat that sparked her interest in real estate. Lim had to navigate the complex process of selling her flat and she quickly realised that there was a significant information gap in the industry. She met numerous agents who failed to provide the necessary information that she needed as a seller, leading to a sense of disillusionment.

She decided to join the real estate industry to serve other families, and to prevent other first-time sellers from undergoing her less-than-ideal experience. This desire to be of service and help others navigate their property buying and selling journey with ease became her passion, propelling her forward, towards her eventual success.

Lim’s secret – empathy and trustworthiness

Lim’s personal experiences as a buyer and a mother of four have given her a deep understanding of the challenges and concerns her clients face, some of which may seem insurmountable. Instead of focusing solely on commissions and self-interest, she takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and preferences, empathise with their concerns and expectations, and tailors her approach to ensure that they receive personalised guidance and recommendations.

For her, real estate is not just about closing a deal — it's about helping her clients find a home. For example, she encountered a couple who had been struggling to secure a loan for their next property due to their financial situation. Instead of simply advising them to sell their current property, she took the time to understand their goals and needs. She guided them through the process of appealing to HDB and provided them with the necessary resources and support. Lim's dedication paid off, as the couple eventually secured a loan and found their dream home.

Besides assisting her clients to secure their dream home, Lim is constantly on the lookout for investment-worthy properties that can elevate their familial portfolio. This includes premium properties that are prime investment opportunities which can be maintained for long-term investment purposes through generations. Within four years of joining the industry, Lim has taken the industry by storm and brought home prestigious awards like the coveted Rising Millionaire Realtor award in 2022 and 2023. She have also been consistently placed among the Top 100 achievers over the last three years.

In 2023, Lim broadened her real estate scope by embarking on a journey of teambuilding. In a brief span of less than a year, Lim has taken 18 associates under her wing, guiding them under close mentorship.
