Lady Gaga to receive Grammy Museum award for services to education

Lady Gaga: career recap in five music videos

The Grammy Museum is honoring Lady Gaga with a new award.

The singer will receive the "Jane Ortner Artist Award" at the Museum's 2016 Jane Ortner Education Award Luncheon on April 4, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will also perform at the event, alongside John Legend, who won the inaugural award.

The accolade is given to a performer who has shown passion and dedication to education through the arts. The award was established in 2014 in memory of Jane Ortner, a public school teacher who used music as a means of providing a broad education.
