Khloe Kardashian reveals her battle with COVID-19 in new footage from this week's Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The final season of the family reality show takes a very dark turn in Friday's (October 30) instalment, when the Kardashians are forced to socially distance from Khloe as her health takes a turn for the worse.

A preview clip, which you can watch above, shows vlog footage shot by Khloe from her sickbed while she was in the throes of battling COVID-19 earlier this year.

"I just found out that I do have Corona," she says. "I've been in my room. It's going to be fine, but it was really bad for a couple of days. Vomiting and shaking, and hot and cold.

"I suffer from migraines, but this was the craziest headache. I wouldn't say it was a migraine. The coughing, my chest would burn when I would cough… My throat is still not fully recovered, clearly."

Khloe ends her vlog on a hopeful note, saying: "Let me tell you, we're all going to get through this."

Her half-sister Kylie Jenner made headlines in the early days of the pandemic when she donated $1 million to help support healthcare workers on the frontlines.

The Kardashians' very intimate experience with the virus will be part of their swansong, after announcing that Keeping Up With the Kardashians will be ending in 2021.

Explaining why it was time to end the show, momager Kris Jenner recently told WWD: "When we first started, there was no Instagram or Snapchat or other social media platforms. The world has changed.

"Now there are so many, the viewer doesn't have to wait three or four months to see an episode. We can give them all of the information anyone would ever want to know in real time.

"Social media is the fastest and most controlled way to get the message out. The consumer gets to see the products the girls are working on in real time, and they know we're going to get it out the door pretty quickly. The girls want them to be part of the journey to keep them engaged."
