Japan June jobless rate falls to 2.5%, job availability slips

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's jobless rate in June fell to 2.5% from the previous month, government data showed on Tuesday.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with economists' median forecast of 2.6%.

The jobs-to-applicants ratio slipped to 1.23 in June from 1.24 in May, separate labour ministry data showed. The median forecast was for 1.24.
