ISDN Holdings To Develop 20 Megawatt Hydropower Facility In Indonesia
ISDN Holdings has received the in-principle approval to develop a 20 megawatt hydropower plant along the Rawa River in the Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The hydropower plant is expected to take 40 months to complete and the construction is estimated to cost US$40 million.
Based on a tariff rate of US$0.09, it is expected to generate annual revenue of approximately US$10 million, contingent on the signing of the power purchase agreement with Indonesia’s state-run power distributor, PT PLN, and its absolute purchase of the electricity produced by the hydropower plant.
The running costs are expected to hover between US$0.005 and US$0.007 per kilowatt-hour.
