Invacare: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) _ Invacare Corp. (IVC) on Wednesday reported a loss of $8 million in its third quarter.

The Elyria, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 15 cents per share.

The wheelchair, crutches and motorized scooter company posted revenue of $235.8 million in the period.

Invacare shares have risen 83% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $7.89, a rise of roughly 6% in the last 12 months.
