ICE tops on Europe expansion
The futures exchanges operator said Q3 EPS fell 4% to $1.79 , beating views by 7 cents. Revenue fell 5% to $323 mil, missing estimates. During the quarter IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) announced plans to expand into European natural gas markets and develop credit default swaps futures, according to a statement by the company. Q3 transaction and clearing revenues at the futures segment grew 1% to $156 mil. Shares rose 2.7% to 133.28.
