IBM (IBM) Stock Sinks As Market Gains: What You Should Know

IBM (IBM) closed at $138 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.5% move from the prior day. This change lagged the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.18%. At the same time, the Dow added 0.24%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 0.03%.

Coming into today, shares of the technology and consulting company had gained 13.21% in the past month. In that same time, the Computer and Technology sector gained 5.62%, while the S&P 500 gained 4.28%.

IBM will be looking to display strength as it nears its next earnings release.
