MATAWAN, N.J. (AP) _ Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. (HOV) on Monday reported a loss of $1 million in its fiscal third quarter.

The Matawan, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share.

The homebuilder posted revenue of $456.7 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $1.54. A year ago, they were trading at $1.73.
