The Santorini is an eight-block, 15-storey, 587-unit condominium development in Tampines that has proven immensely popular among HDB upgraders, who account for 82.5 percent of its buyers.
Apart from the usual condo facilities, such as a swimming pool, indoor gym, tennis court and barbecue pits, the project also boasts an aqua gym, spa beds, roof gardens, and a yoga deck. Its units range from one- to five-bedroom types, of which three-bedroom units are the most common.
There is a laundry list of amenities near The Santorini. Families with school-going children can choose from schools such as St. Hildas Primary School, Poi Ching School, the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), United World College, Tampines Junior College, Temasek Polytechnic and many more, while working adults can easily commute to offices in Changi Business Park, Tampines Biz Hub or Telepark.
Furthermore, there are three retail malls in the area: Tampines Mall, Tampines 1 and Century Square, all situated near bank branches such as Standard Chartered and DBS, as well as a Singapore Post office.
In terms of public transport, there is Tampines MRT station, and various bus services travel directly to places like Bedok, Ubi, Yishun, Orchard and even Bukit Timah.
The upcoming Tampines East and Tampines West stations on the Downtown Line will make travelling to and from the area even more convenient.
