In the first nine months of 2021, the company repurchased shares worth $290.6 million and paid out dividends worth $84.2 million. Also, in August 2021, it announced a 3% hike in its quarterly dividend rate. In addition to its existing share repurchase authorization, the company approved the repurchase of 5 million shares in February 2021.
