Yahoo Finance HDB launches 10,118 flats for sale
On Nov 22, the Housing & Development Board (HDB) launched 10,118 flats for sale under the Nov 2016 Build-To-Order (BTO) and Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise.
This is HDB’s largest joint BTO and SBF exercise this year, and comprises 5,110 BTO flats and 5,008 SBF flats across 25 towns or estates.
The 5,110 BTO flats offered in the Nov 2016 exercise are spread across nine projects, with three in the non-mature town of Punggol and another six in the mature towns or estates of Bedok, Bidadari (Toa Payoh) and Kallang/Whampoa. Excluding grants, prices for the BTO flats start from $80,000 for a 2-room Flexi unit in Punggol while prices for the SBF flats start from $75,000 for a 2-room Flexi unit in non-mature towns.
This launch brings the total BTO supply in 2016 to 17,891 flats. Including the 10,178 SBF units offered in the May and Nov 2016 SBF exercise, a total of 28,069 flats will be launched in 2016.
In the next upcoming BTO launch in Feb 2017, HDB will offer about 4,100 flats in Clementi, Punggol, Tampines and Woodlands.
