NEW DELHI (Reuters) - New guidelines on India's laptop import policy were still under deliberation, the trade minister said on Thursday.

Reuters reported last month that India was set to limit imports of laptops, tablets and personal computers after January.

"This is still under deliberation. It is being handled by the ministry of electronics and information technology," Trade Minister Piyush Goyal told reporters.
