Granite Point Mortgage Trust: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

NEW YORK (AP) _ Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc. (GPMT) on Monday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $17.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of 32 cents. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 34 cents per share.

The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $64.7 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $28.4 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $70.2 million, or $1.32 per share. Revenue was reported as $109.3 million.

Granite Point Mortgage Trust shares have declined 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $17.24, a decline of nearly 9% in the last 12 months.
