Gran Tierra Energy: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (GTE) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $27 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had profit of 7 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 3 cents per share.

The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $127.9 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $38.7 million, or 10 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $571 million.

The company's shares closed at 82 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.28.
