Govt releases two sites in Potong Pasir, Sembawang for sale

Two land sites were released for sale on Wednesday by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Housing & Development Board (HDB).

Together, both sites could yield about 1,300 residential units.

The first is a commercial and residential site at Meyappa Chettiar Road (pictured), which was launched under the confirmed list.

Measuring 16,149.3 sqm, the 99-year leasehold plot is located within an established residential estate and is just next to Potong Pasir MRT station. Schools and shopping amenities such as NEX and City Square Mall are also in the vicinity.

The tender for this site will close on 19 August and the successful tenderer will be selected based on the tendered land price only.

Meanwhile, the executive condominium (EC) site at Sembawang Road has an area of 28,746 sqm and was made available on the reserve list today.

The nearest train station is the Sembawang MRT station, while Sembawang Shopping Centre and Northpoint Mall are a short drive away.

Offered on a 99-year lease, the land parcel provides easy accessibility to the city via the SLE.
